Compassionate Care. Meaningful Living.

Ashbourne Living was founded in 2026 by Dr. Noah Jentzen and his wife, Amanda, with a vision shaped by their shared commitment to exceptional care and their desire to create a better experience for older adults living with memory loss.

We believe growing older should never mean giving up the things that make life feel personal. The comfort of home, meaningful relationships, familiar routines, good food, and the feeling of being truly known all matter.

As a physician and a nurse, we have spent our careers caring for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. We have seen firsthand how important compassionate care, clinical excellence, and human connection are. We also recognized that memory care could be different. It could be more personal, more intimate, and more like home.

That belief became Ashbourne Living.

Dr. Jentzen brings extensive experience in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Cardiothoracic Critical Care, Neurocritical Care, and Healthcare Quality. Amanda, a board certified nurse, brings years of hands on nursing experience and a deep understanding of the comfort, reassurance, and personal connection families want for someone they love.

Together, we created Ashbourne to offer something truly uncommon. The highest level of personalized memory care within the comfort and intimacy of a beautiful private home.

With a small number of residents, individualized care, attentive staffing, elevated amenities, and an environment intentionally designed around each person, Ashbourne is not meant to feel like a facility. It is meant to feel like home, with an extraordinary level of care surrounding it.

Every aspect of Ashbourne is thoughtfully considered to preserve dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. Our approach is deeply personal. We take the time to understand each resident as an individual, including their history, preferences, routines, relationships, and what makes life meaningful to them.

For us, exceptional memory care is about more than meeting a medical need. It is about knowing the person, caring for the whole individual, and creating a place where every resident feels valued, respected, and at home.

"At Ashbourne, we are honored to provide exceptional memory care rooted in respect, compassion, clinical excellence, and the comforts of home".
